Transplant Living
Challenge: Knowledge is power, and in 2003 UNOS wanted to empower transplant candidates and recipients with a redesigned Web site that would meet all their information needs and help them work effectively with their transplant teams. The amount and complexity of the information UNOS had for the site was enormous, and CreativeAid staff were tasked with creating an information resource that was comprehensive and accurate, yet easy to understand, useful, and user friendly.
Solution: The all new Transplant Living Web site launched in 2003. CreativeAid designed the site itself, its Spanish language counterpart, all visual identity and branding, promo materials (print, exhibit, CD demos, magazine ads), and related Transplant Living-branded patient information materials, i.e. What Every Patient Needs to Know, What Every Kid Needs to Know, Living Donation - Information You Need to Know, etc.
Results: Transplant Living is the central component of UNOS’ patient education program, and has become the country’s go-to site for all things relating to the transplant process and the transplant patient experience. Since its release, the Web site has reached millions of visitors from over 20 countries. The site receives an average of 22,000 visits from 16,000 unique visitors each month. Transplant Living was awarded the IABC Gold Quill Award for excellence in electronic and digital communications.
