AOPO National Conference

Challenge: The Association of Organ Procurement Organizations didn’t want to just have a meeting. They wanted to have THE meeting. The procurement and transplant community holds a lot of meetings every year, but no one has the time or the budget to attend every one of them. AOPO wanted to be sure that their annual conference was the one nobody could afford to miss. Yes, they offered great programs in attractive venues. But something was missing… the packaging that tied the whole event together, and showed that of all the meetings out there, this one offered quality, opportunity, value and, yes, fun.

Solution: Since 2006, Creative Aid staff have been responsible for the design of AOPO’s Annual Meeting theme, marketing materials including print and Web graphics, meeting-related print materials, exhibit graphics, and signage. Not just to communicate what, when, and where, but brand it, generate excitement, and bring a unified theme to a multi-faceted learning, exhibiting, networking event.

Results: Since the beginning of CreativeAid's involvement, the AOPO annual meeting theme has not only built awareness of the event, but also translated interest into increased conference registrations, attracting thousands of attendees since the premier meeting. In addition, the branding created by CreativeAid improved overall meeting professionalism and attendee experience, and established a reputation of a leading event for transplant professionals.
